- Roanoke Indivisible Monthly
MeetingSocial. This month’s meeting is more of a social event than a meeting. Hang out with Indivisible at Twisted Track Brewpub, Wednesday, October 15, 6 p.m. EDT, 523 Shenandoah Ave NW, Roanoke. - No Kings 2, a peaceful movement – bring your signs and chants on Saturday, October 18, 12 – 1 p.m. at Washington Park, the corner of Orange and Burrell Streets (1610 Burrell St NW).
- Bring your signs and make your voice heard outside of Congressman Ben Cline’s office in Roanoke. Protests are held every Monday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. at Jefferson and Franklin Streets. Get more information and coordinate through the Roanoke Social Circle.
- Canvassing made easy! Indivisible’s simple and effective Neighbor2Neighbor toolkit will provide you with a script and the addresses for 10 like-minded voters (usually within walking distance). Get out and have conversations on your own time in the two weeks before the election!
- Virginia 2025: Phonebank, Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 6:30 – 8 p.m. EDT. Phone bank for candidates who will put Virginia first, from the governor’s mansion to local school boards. A short training is provided before the event. - Two quick actions through the ACLU if you’d like to Shut Down Ice or Support DC Statehood. Click the links to send a letter to your Congressman. It’s fast and easy to do.
- Roanoke Indivisibility has created a Visibility Brigade to send the message at overpasses with large signs. Check out the link to learn more, donate or sign up to volunteer!
- Knocking Doors for Abigail Spanberger in Roanoke, Saturdays and Sundays. Visit the link for available times and to sign up. Location will be provided to you when you register.
- Sunday Phone Bank with Blue Wave America! Chat with your neighbors about what matters most to them as we approach the November election, Sundays 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. You can do this wherever you are.
- If maintaining education standards and funding is critical to you, visit the National Education Association (NEA) Action Page. On a recent visit, there were 47 actions to take, and they’ve made many actions super easy. Here’s one you can accomplish in a quick minute or two: Don’t Slash Education Funding.

- Join DOGOOD VA and SERV for in person or virtual Racial Justice trainings on the following Mondays at 6:15 p.m.: October 20th, “Disrupting Racism”; November 17th, “Challenging White Saviorism”. In person trainings will be held at the Grandin Theatre. Register here.
- Virginia 2025: Phonebank Training, Mondays, 5 – 6 p.m. EDT, virtual event. In this full training, Indivisible will show you everything you need to know to feel confident and prepared for a phonebank shift.

- MoveOn: Volunteer Network Call, 8-9 p.m. EDT. Held the 3rd Monday of each month, that’s October 20th for the next one, the MoveOn Volunteer Network Call is a platform for you to stay informed about MoveOn’s campaigns.
- Protect the Vote and be a Voter Advocate at polling places during upcoming elections. Visit Virginia Election Protection to learn more.
- Make a road trip to DC with DC Field Trip. This group’s mission is to get you to Washington D.C. to speak with your representatives by removing the logistical, financial, and emotional roadblocks that get in the way.
